SENIOR LEAD ENGINEER

SENIOR LEAD ENGINEEROur client is an organization that provides testing and design performance capabilities for their clients’ products, which ensure product capabilities and performance for their clients.  As a Senior Lead Engineer, you will manage teams of engineers in resolving HVAC&R system designs, and may include system development, cost reduction and activities that support strategic planning requirements.Responsibilities:· Perform project management in projects of global and platform scope.· Assume full technical project ownership and program management responsibility for the design and development of refrigeration and/or air conditioning system solutions· Verify technology requirements· Perform moderate to complex engineering tasks with minimal supervision.· Responsible for the selection, layout and sizing of systems and equipment.· Mentors junior engineers helping to improve their overall skills and abilities. Skills and Experience Required:· Masters Degree in Engineering or equivalent, MBA is a plus· Active ASHRAE and ARI membership and participation highly desirable· 7 years experience in design, development, and testing of refrigeration systems· 5 years experience as a project leader or senior engineer leading new product development at the system level· Experience with refrigeration cycle development and testing· Knowledge of equipment controls and system integration, electrical circuitry, heat transfer technology, thermodynamics, refrigeration circuits design, prototype production and testing & HVAC regulatory requirements.· Must be extremely reliable and organized, able to work under pressure, and work flexible hours as necessary to meet customer deadlines· Must be able to operate with only rare guidance and training from supervisor· Must like diversity and having fun at work Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to contact Doug Barker, confidentially, with a Word version resume via e-mail at dbarker@mritc.net .
