Invensys Process Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Manager of Inside Sales in their Houston office.

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Manager will direct IPS North America inside sales team with sales, quotas, telemarketing and overall customer support to meet the region’s goals and objectives. This includes building and overseeing a team of sales associates responsible for overall relationship and business with existing customers being the primary channel for transactional sales, as well as, qualify new leads and search prospects for new opportunities with existing customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead our inside sales team receiving inbound and making outbound phone calls selling products and services to our customers.
• Meet quarterly bookings and sales quota objectives.
• Develop the detailed metrics to measure and manage the success of inbound and outbound programs, and individual and team performance
• Hire, develop and manage a strong and successful inside sales team. Manage a team of employees to objectives, attract and retain talent, provide development and coaching, conduct performance feedback.
• Work closely with Regional Sales Managers on account assignments
• Work with Marketing to qualify pipeline of leads for the sales team
• Implement, train and maintain the company's inside sales process standards

Requirements

• Experience in building and managing a successful influential sales team through mentoring, coaching, training and motivating with quantifiable results.
• 10+ years sales and marketing experience
• 5+ years managing a sales team with a proven track record of success
• Strong ability to prioritize work and solve problems
• Experience in solution sales and training
• Experience working in a metrics driven environment
• Strong customer service orientation
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with CRM applications, such as SalesLogix
• Bachelors Degree preferred
