SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER, REMEDIATION & CONSTRUCTION

For the past 4 years, PIKA has matured into a world-wide and financially sound organization, focusing on providing turnkey environmental consulting, engineering and constructions services. Our services are inclusive of environmental consulting and engineering services, demilitarization, radiological services, construction management as well as munitions and explosives (MEC) remediation.
POSITION PURPOSE:
Provide management and oversight for multi-year, multi-million dollar programs sponsored by the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE).
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Program Manager position will collaborate with Senior Management on the required initiatives to successfully manage the various programs assigned and to obtain potential business opportunities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions of the Senior Program Manager for Remediation and Construction Projects are as follows
1. Provide technical support and lead a wide variety of engineering, construction, decontamination/demolition, waste management, and environmental remediation projects.
2. Participate in business development activities, proposal writing, and generating technical documents.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERTISE
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications at a minimum:
1. BS degree in Engineering (MS Preferred).
2. Professional Engineer Certification preferred.
3. 10-15 years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, demolition, and environmental remediation.
4. Leadership and business development experience.
The candidate is required to possess the following qualifications:
1. Knowledge of federal and state regulations
2. Experience with hazardous waste, site auditing/site investigations, site remediation, experience with firm fixed price contracting
3. NQA-1 experience.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
1. Ability to technically write responses to Request for Proposals (RFP)
2. Communication, business development, client interaction, and organizational skills required.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
4. Highly motivated and customer focused in addition to the ability to work in a team environment.
5. Ability to manage a heavy workload.
6. Ability and willingness to travel frequently and at short notice.
