DESCRIPTION:
Design, code, and verify embedded software for controlled braking applications
Review and comprehend software specifications
Actively participate in software meetings/work sessions/code reviews
Follow the Delphi Common Software Development process
Meet project assignments on time
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's - Computer Engineering, Computer Science Or Electrical Engineering
REQUIRED:
Ability to work on a larger/diverse team
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and abilities
High level of analytical skills
Experience with lower layer software development (e.g. Initialization, Hardware I/O, ADC, SCI, SPI, timers, memory management, failsafe, real-time operating systems, task structure, APIs, flash programming, boot, serial communication ¡V CAN, KW2000, UART, J1850)
Knowledge of C and assembly language programming for embedded systems
PREFERRED:
Experience with in-circuit emulators, logic analyzers
Experience with microcontrollers (e.g ST-10, TMS470, other)
Experience with real-time operating systems
Experience in embedded control system design
Experience with integrating 3rd party software (e.g. Vector CAN products - handlers, bootloaders, AutoSAR software components) into a SW package
Familiarity with configuration management systems (PVCS, Cradle, CM Synergy, Change Synergy)
Familiarity with microprocessors
Familiarity with basic electrical engineering concepts
Knowledge of debugging, testing, and verification techniques
Simulation and modeling experience
Familiarity with Delphi-E&S¡¦ SW Common Process
Familiarity with automotive Safety related failsafe strategy (safety integrity levels).
