STRESS ENGINEER/PIPING

Job Description: Expert user of Caesar II 4.0 (or later version) stress analysis software.  Conduct stress analysis using Caesar II for large and small bore piping systems in refinery and various process applications.  Conduct piping load evaluations on rotating and static equipment nozzles.  Design pipe supports for special applications.  Develop piping material specifications utilizing applicable ASME and related codes.  Prepare pipe and pipe support fabrication specifications and bid tabulation evaluations of vendor submittals.  At least 10 years experience in engineering, with project lead engineer experience.  Accountable for the adequacy of the engineering drawings and specifications for completed project and compliance with schedule and budget.  Responsible for providing calculations, analyses, studies, and recommendations in support of technical documents.  Plans, develops, and coordinates discipline engineering activities from initiation to completion.  PE registration preferred.

 

Education: BS in Engineering
