Sales Engineer/Industrial

Job Purpose:

Serves current and potential industrial customers by identifying their needs for equipment  overhaul, especially pumps, motors, blowers, mixers, gear boxes, conveyors, heat exchangers, HVAC coils, and valves; improves in house design and manufacturing of couplings, seal coolers, mechanical seals, and impellers; develops and implements service contracts for existing and potential customers.

Duties:

* Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers.

* Provides service or equipment technical and engineering information for pumps, electrical motors, and couplings. 

 

* Establishes new accounts;  plans and organizes sales calls.

* Develops and implements new service contracts for potential and existing customers

 

 

 

 

 

 

* Prepares cost estimates for new service contracts.

 

 * Demonstrates maintenance cost  reduction and operations improvements.

* Develops company's staff by providing technical information and training.

 Skills/Qualifications:

Problem solving, knowledge of Pumps, Electrical Motors, couplings and mechanical seals, selling to customer needs,  presentation skills, and verbal communication.
