Sales Professional - Product Development Services

Insight is a world leader in helping companies grow their businesses through innovating new products, experiences, and interactions that provide value and profitability.  We are looking for someone who has a passion for sales and can also help us manage client relationships for companies such as Microsoft, Becton Dickinson, Baxter Healthcare, Motorola, and Whirlpool and more.

This role requires a person who is adept at identifying key decision makers and quickly articulating Insight's value at the senior executive level. Skills in prospecting, cold calling, closing business, and helping manage client relationships are a requirement.  While a background or experience in selling some kind of technical services is desired, the motivation and desire to manage long term relationships is the key to success for this position. The competitive compensation includes a guaranteed base salary plus commission.

Responsibilities:

  * Prospect, target and generate new business opportunities
  * Effectively communicate Insight's capabilities through cold calling and in-person capabilities presentations
  * Coordinate and help write  compelling new business proposals
  * Help establish resource requirements, timing and deliverables
  * Support ongoing relationships as account manager to address client needs and seek out new opportunities with ongoing accounts

Requirements:

  * Bachelor's degree preferred
  * Excellent verbal and written communications
  * Ability to think creatively and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  * Strategic thinker who can quickly develop and articulate mutually beneficial value propositions
  * Energetic, self-motivated team player
  * 7+ year proven track record of business development
  * Must be a U.S. citizen or have appropriate visa
