SALES REPRESENTATIVE

 

 

Sandvik Coromant, the World's #1 supplier of cutting tools and know-how for competitive machining, is currently seeking a Sales Representative in the Southern, Illinois and St. Louis region.

 

Key Performance Areas:

 

The Sales Representative will be responsible for sales of Carbide Cutting Tools in the assigned region in a business environment including outside sales, providing service to an existing and new customer base, and seizing sales opportunities of carbide cutting tools to potential customers in the Region. Also, the candidate will be responsible for sales calls to Purchasing Agents, Manufacturing Engineers, Plant Managers, CNC Programmers of end users, and through the Market Channel network of Distributors and Integrators.

 

Your Profile: High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Technical Area or Business AdministrationMinimum 3 years experience in metal cutting industry as a user, seller, or distributor of cutting tools Possess thorough knowledge of rotary cutting tools Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Need to be self motivated Previous sales experience is a plus Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. Microsoft Office proficiency Candidate must live in the territory.
