Scientist Project Manager I, Scientist

JOB DESCRIPTION – Scientist Project Manager I, Scientist     Job Responsibilities – Manage and participate in various environmental studies and planning/permitting efforts.   Serve as a Technical Group Leader of a Biological/Wetlands group, and supervise from 5 to 8 biologists.   Initiate and participate in Business Development activities, related to a variety of work and client types, but in particular related to the development and selling of Biological Services.  Participate as an ALX representative to one of the Tetra Tech wide Initiative programs.   It is anticipated that assistance will be required in the business development and performance of work related to wind energy, as well as a wide diversity of other projects. Employee will be involved with initiatives ranging from Commercial Energy to International work.  

Requirements – BS Degree in Wildlife Biology and Management; MS in Wildlife Ecology; with at least 8 years experience. With well-developed leadership qualities, and must have formal or on-the-job PM training
