Description:Eaton Corporation located in Costa Mesa, CA, has an opening for a Senior Analytical Engineer.This person will provide analytical support for product development of fuel components and fuel systems. Types of analysis performed may include: computational fluid dynamics, system network analysis, thermal analysis, kinematic analysis and finite element analysis.Job Responsibilities include: - Performing analyses as required to support product development of fuel components and fuel systems. Conduct analyses substantiating designs and perform iterations, as needed, for optimizing designs of fuel components and fuel systems.- Recommend technical direction on engineering approach to new or modified designs. MS or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred. Desired candidate would have software experience with computational fluid dynamics analysis software, preferably ANSYS CFX.
