Senior CAD Operator

  We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a SENIOR CAD OPERATOR in our CHICAGO OFFICE. As a SENIOR CAD OPERATOR your major activities will be: drafting redlines, providing design assistance and managing CAD coordination on projects specific to CAD skills and capabilities. Assist designers and engineers in calculations by creating floor-plans, one-line diagrams and panel schedule drawings in AutoCAD from redlined drawings. Create schematics and equipment schedules. Perform duties with little or no supervision  REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:Prior experience with an engineering firm - a huge plusProficiency in converting architectural backgrounds into Syska backgrounds Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD Proficiency in the latest National CAD standards Ability to read floor plans, sections and elevations Ability to draw sections with no direction Experience in electronic file transfer Available to work overtime to meet project deadlines. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSFamiliarity with one of the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing trades  RELEVANT EXPERIENCE 5+ years’ relevant experience with current version of AutoCAD; work experience in the Mechanical, Plumbing or Electrical fieldsCAD Proficiency: Completion of advanced computer and CAD courses beyond trade school or equivalent formal trainingTO APPLY CLICK HERE
