Senior Electrical (Controls) Engineer

Par Nuclear Inc., a Westinghouse subsidiary, has an opening for an Electrical Engineer focusing in Controls Engineering.Job Function:Customized and Complex Schematic, Wiring Diagram, Control Center/System, and/or Panel Design.  Ideal candidate can handle all electrical interfacing from schematics to procedures; PLC experience is a plus. Duties: ·  Take schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and cable assemblies and red-line and/or change with CAD processes to meet customer technical requirements.·  Perform load calculation process, and change as needed, to meet customer technical requirements.·  Take FMEA process, and change as needed, to meet customer technical requirements.·  Take installation procedure process, and change as needed, to meet field service installation requirements.·  Take service manual process, and change as needed, to meet maintenance requirements. Specific Responsibilities:·  Perform routine engineering design evaluations and analyses. ·  Prepare appropriate documentation supporting evaluations and analyses. ·  Verify routine design evaluations and analyses performed by others, as qualified.·  Interface on a limited basis with customers, vendors and other internal functional groups on engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.·  Obtain results to routine technical problems.·  Identify and recommend improvements in processes on continuing basis and assist in implementation.·  Identify and assist in development of new business opportunities.·  Plan and schedule own work to meet assignment requirements within scheduler and budgetary requirements.·  Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks. Required Education/Experience: ·  4 year Electrical Engineering degree and at least 3 years professional employment, or equivalent alternative training and experience. Job type: Long term contract; strong possibility for hire. Please apply online. Liz TygerSystem One elizabeth.tyger@systemoneservices.com 651-415-4255   Company: System One Location: Shoreview, MN 55126 Status: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project, Employee Job Category: Engineering Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education: Bachelor's Degree Company: System One Email: Apply by Email
