Job Title: Senior Engineering Recruiter

This Operations Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening and working with various Client Recruiters across different divisions within Kenexa's client, Corning, to close candidates for external requisitions. This individual will need to demonstrate the ability to research various industries and geographic locations using a variety of methods and will need to have a strong background in full cycle recruiting and experience with recruitment of Engineering disciplines.

 

Primary responsibilities include the following:

• Contact requisite number of candidates to assure engagement success

• Responsible for direct sourcing of candidates for assigned requisitions

• Create letters, emails, memos and faxes that engender interest in opportunities from targeted program candidate groups

• Initial paper and/or phone screening of candidates that have been directly sourced or indirectly sourced (via HRC Research Consultants)

• Screen and process employee referral candidates

• Manage candidates from application to submittal to the Client Recruiter

• Execute a personal time management plan 

 

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of Recruiting Experience preferably in Engineering

• Team player

• Ability to multitask

• Strong written and oral communications skills
