B.S. Environmental Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering8 years of experience with environmental remedial design and implementation.Candidate must posses Professional Engineer license and OSHA HAZWOPER certificationProficiency with Microsoft Office U.S. Citizenship for access to Department of Defense facilities Job Description : Candidate will:* Conduct RCRA corrective measures studies (CMS), CERCLA feasibility (FS) studies, and prepare Corrective Action Plans for sites in Virginia.* Prepare Corrective Measures Implementation (CMI) plans and specifications. Prepare environmental remedial designs, specifications, and cost estimates. * Conduct and oversee remedial treatibility and pilot studies. Management/oversight of remedial implementation including system construction, operation, and maintenance.* Provide environmental engineering support to remedial site investigations and environmental permitting and compliance projects.* Technical writing of remedial plans.* Cost estimating using DOD cost estimating programs and systems.* Management of remedial projects including environmental construction.* Further develop RCRA Corrective Action expertise (as regulated by EPA Region III and VDEQ).* RCRA Facility Investigation (RFI), Corrective Measures Study (CMS), Corrective Measures Implementation (CMI), corrective action plans/remedial action plans for VPDES facilities, pipelines, and bulk facilities. Environmental permitting and compliance projects.Effective coordination and interaction with professional staff, subcontractors, and clients is required. Strong technical writing ability required.
