Senior FPGA Development Engineer

Our Client’s Logic's Mixed Signal Audio Division is looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to develop board level products to support the next generation of digital audio networking product.  This candidate will provide strong technical leadership in the development and validation of the required FPGA and associated board circuitry.

 

Responsibilities:

Design, debug, test and deployment of FPGA based designs.

Development of system level architectural solutions for Audio Networking products.

On-time delivery of critical project milestones.

Creating innovative technical solutions to complex issues.

 

Qualifications:

BS / MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with at least 8 years of digital design experience with all phases of FPGA and board level design.

Strong experience with Xilinx tools, Verilog/VHDL, simulation, testbench creation essential.

Experience in audio engineering (Analog and Digital) is essential.

Experience with schematic capture design tools, 10/100/1000 Ethernet based designs, EDK tool kit using PowerPC/Microblaze and software development, Matlab and Spice are highly desired.

Excellent problem solving skills, good written and verbal communication, and the ability to work individually and across functional groups and organizations are required.

Strong track record of meeting schedule commitments required.

Exceptional technical background in communications and system architecture.
