Location:  Ft. Dix, NJ

 

Responsibilities:

 

To provide technical and management support to Fort Dix in support of the Fire Protection Program. Provides consultation to Fort Dix, its sub-installations, facilities and reimbursable customers for fire code and regulatory interpretations, fire detection and alarm and fire suppression systems requirements, life safety considerations, and support the Fort Dix Regional Fire Prevention Bureau.

Experience Requirements:

 

Professional Engineer familiar with all current National Fire Codes and converse in Uniform Building Codes for the state of New Jersey.  The candidate must be a registered Fire Protection Engineer and be confident with the fire analysis, suppression issues and detection systems.

 

Skills Requirements:

 

Effective communications skills to work with personnel and other localities, able to develop protection program instruction courses for engineers, estimators, and/or fire department personnel.

 

Education Requirements:

 

BS in related field plus 5-7 exp. or MS with 3-5 yr experience and Professional Fire Engineer.
