Explore the opportunity of world-changing work available to you below.CH2M HILL is looking for a dynamic person to join the firm as a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Designer in the Bellingham, WA office.Key Duties:• Instrumentation and Control Systems design leading to the development and assembly of work packages for all instrumentation related drawings.• Develop P&ID’s, location plans, loop sheets, schematics, panel drawings, PLC cabinet drawings, instrument index/database, installation details/Bill of Materials, and all instrument drawings, including drawings related to DCS and PLC interface.• Perform quality checks and verification of compliance to standards for all instrumentation related drawings issued for construction.• Field checkout, construction support, startup assistance and as-built/walkdowns.• Ensure good communication and coordination between multi-discipline jobs and with plant engineers, clients and field contractors.Qualifications• 10+ years experience in instrumentation and controls design for the oil and gas production, refineries, petrochemicals or related industry.• Knowledge and application of all electrical and instrumentation related standards, codes and regulations.• Working knowledge of databases.• An understanding of the project control, budgeting and scheduling discipline project progress.• Must be proficient in AutoCAD, and MS Office applications.• Good communication skills, both oral and written.Benefits: Medical and Dental Plans Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability Income 401(k) Plan with company match Employee Ownership Paid Time Off Program Flexible Work Scheduling Business Casual Dress Learning and Development Opportunities Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program Voluntary Auto and Homeowners InsuranceCompany Profile:Employee-owned CH2M HILL is a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction and operations for public and private clients.
