Senior LED Test Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

Senior Test Engineer responsible for development and deployment of LED test systems

 

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Develop, deploy, and support test systems for wafer- and package-level LED testing.

· Define test methodology based on customer requirements

· Identify, select, and specify test instrumentation and equipment

· Perform as a technical lead on test development projects

· Project management

· Responsible for on-time project completion

· Write software for test control, data collection and processing

· Integrate software and hardware into working test stations

· Qualify instrumentation in accordance with good industry practices

· Write engineering documentation, operating procedures, manuals

· Define, plan, and execute tool qualifications

· Mentor and coordinate project activities of test engineers

·  Train and support operating personnel

 

 

Minimum Qualification Required: (when qualifications include education or equivalent, define equivalent)

· M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

· 10 years Industrial Test Engineering Experience

· Experience with Optical Test Methodologies

· Experience in PC-based data acquisition, data logging, and instrument control

· LabVIEW programming skills a must

· Familiarity with automation for process control

· Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

· Working knowledge of circuit design

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Able to train and supervise operators

· Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

· Working knowledge of metrology and SPC Tools

 

Additional Desired Qualification/Experience:

· Volume manufacturing experience

· Familiarity with semiconductor wafer testing

· Opto-mechanical design experience

· Working knowledge of metrology and SPC tools

· Broad programming skills (VB, MATLAB, C, SQL)
