SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER, P.E.

 

A Georgia based consulting engineering; testing & Inspection Company is seeking senior level mechanical engineers with extensive experience (10+ years) in tank & piping Mechanical Integrity Programs at Pulp & Paper Plants.  Successful engineers will manage Mechanical Integrity Programs, performing Mechanical Integrity / Fitness-For-Service Evaluations and manage repairs to equipment. 

 

Positions are available in Atlanta, Brunswick, Savannah & Jesup, GA and Jacksonville, FL areas. 

 

Consulting Engineering Department / Industrial Services Group

Perform duties as assigned by Industrial Services Manager

 

Duties include following:

 Perform inspections, calculations and evaluations of tanks, vessels, boilers, deaerators, evaporators, etc.Generate and review inspection, calculations and evaluation procedures, reports and proposals, including assist manager in developing improved methods and procedures for the group and our clients.Manage projects and clients relating to mechanical integrity, including development of new clients.Mentor & train young engineers, which will include on/off site supervision management of junior engineers and technicians during shutdown /projects.Assist in developing existing and future projects, clients and partners.Develop new niche markets and clients (as personally ready).Assist / participate in professional organizations (TAPPI, BLRBAC, NACE) – active membership, committee participation, technical paper writing, TIP reviews.

 

 

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:

 10+ years in tank & piping Mechanical Integrity Programs at Pulp & Paper PlantsExperience with API 510/570/579/620/650/653, ASME Sec. VIII & NBICGeorgia PE desired, but can be achieved after employment

 

Travel as required (less than 30% estimated seasonally).
