Senior Outside Sales Representative

Corrpro headquartered in Medina, OH, is the leading consulting engineering company providing total corrosion services and turn-key pipeline integrity services to the oil and gas, petrochemical, municipal, and marine markets. Basic PurposeUnder the direction of the Regional Sales Manager, obtain new and incremental business in our major markets while increasing market potential. Responsible for obtaining sales to meet individual budgetary goals. Essential Functions 'Call on key clients in assigned sales area.'Develop new customers and markets in assigned sales area.'Increase sales volume through direct sales efforts.'Secure orders from existing and potential customers.'Prepare quotations and proposals as required.'Follow up on quotations submitted to customers.'Assist in product pricing and logistics with district office management team. 'Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel.'Provide weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships.'Remain current on market trends, competitive activity and product development.'Increase market by a percentage determined by RSM each year.'Follow up on sales leads.'Attend trade shows and related conventions as needed to promote company products and services.'Other duties as assigned.ClimateTravel required. Minimum QualificationsProven sales experience with a technical background. Posses a complete knowledge of the Companies policies, products and procedures and pertinent industry regulations. Specialized training in the cathodic protection industry is preferred. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be self-motivated, well organized and a team player. Ability to deal with individuals at all levels in an organization. Capable of conducting professional sales and training seminars. Computer literate.
