The NVH Product Group at Roush Industries is responsible for the design, development and manufacture of noise and vibration control products for a wide variety of industries.  We are currently looking for candidates who prefer a fast-paced, small company environment with flexible supervision, challenging assignments, and who seek the opportunity to assume new responsibilities and have an entrepreneurial spirit. This position is located in Livonia, MI.

Responsibilities:

· Define, manage and support NVH product objectives through the development of program plans and timelines.

· Assume product responsibilities from the design stage to manufacturing launch through the end of life of the product.

· Work with customers and suppliers to develop and implement appropriate quality documentation.

· Delegate assignments to a cross functional team to accomplish program objectives.

· Keep in close contact with customers to identify new business opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

· Minimum BS in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant Design, Release, Program Management, and Quality work experience -or-

· 2 year related degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.

· Demonstrated experience working with automotive OEM or Tier 1 customers in product design & release and manufacturing environments.

· Experience in automotive program management, DFMEA / PFMEA, APQP process, process flow, and PPAP package preparation/submission.

· Working knowledge of quality system documentation within an ISO / TS format.

· Strong organizational skills with good written and verbal communication skills.

· Familiarity with CAD software and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance).

· Willing and able to travel overseas to low cost manufacturing sites.+

 

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with noise and vibration control products, specifically with tuned mass dampers or rubber mounts.

· Familiarity with viscoelastic-based materials
