Senior Program Manager, DoD, US Government

DESCRIPTION:  Senior Program Manager, DoD, US Government.  Well established, DoD, US Government, prime contractor, communications equipment manufacture, is in need of an experienced Program Manager. Candidate must have a knowledge of estimating, financial, planning, procurement, MRP, manufacturing, scheduling & program management systems, Must have a thorough understanding of industry standard cost control techniques as well as the Earned Value Management System process (EVMS) and Uniform Commercial code & Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Be able utilize a developed work breakdown structure to identify necessary program resources, establish labor and budget estimates as well as development of program timelines or Program Master Schedules (MPSs). Candidate must be able to manage multiple programs at one time and be able to develop and maintain operational and manufacturing budgets. Will be expected to provide metrics and data to support on-time, within budget, programs. Military or DoD program, contract management experience a must.
