Senior Program Manager - Payment

Gilbarco Veeder-Root, the preferred supplier of integrated fuel control, site management, and support services for petroleum marketers and commercial fuel enterprises worldwide, is looking for Program Management – Payment who can provide project leadership and will be responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of software/systems development projects to customer and/or marketing requirements.



 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire project life-cycle and manage cross-functional team from project initiation to production releaseWork with Marketing, Engineering and other departments to develop / finalize and drive requirements to implementationProvide hands-on project and program managementManage the overall Program Management function for payment programs, including the coordination, development and mentorship of Program ManagersActively manage project plans and deliverables as well as the 9 knowledge areas of Project Management (PMI)Prepare communication plans and related project status reportsEffectively apply APD process and enforce defined project standardsDevelop Functional Specifications and Change NoticesTechnical Customer InterfaceDay to Day management of program team personnel and communication with key stakeholdersPrimary technical contact for project related issues



 

Background / Required Qualifications:

 

·  4-year degree with experience in software/systems projects

·  5+ years program management experience, for software/systems development projects

·  Good written and oral communication skills

·  Distributed & multi-cultural team management experience

·  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

·  Travel may be required to meet customer needs
