Senior Project Manager with Applied Materials & Engineering, Inc.

Founded in 1988, Applied Materials & Engineering, Inc. (AME) is an independent Construction Materials Consulting, Inspection and Testing firm. Our staff of civil, structural, metallurgical, materials engineers and architects have advanced degrees and years of field experience. The support staff includes certified field technicians and trained laboratory technicians.

 

Summary:

 

In this role you will be responsible for engineering analysis, report preparation and review, inspections, and field/laboratory testing of construction materials. You will coordinate all departmental personnel, equipment and technical staff required to complete the assigned projects. You will review and signoff on special inspection reports.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The successful candidate will have a significant role interacting with clients, developing business and expanding the capabilities of our firm. You must have a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a desire to excel in leadership and management responsibilities with several years of experience in materials and construction. P.E. registration is required.

 

Requirements:

 7+ years of practical experienceB.S. in Civil Engineering / P.E. requiredExperience with Construction Materials Complete assigned engineering projects in accordance with customer specifications and within schedule and budget limitationsAnalytical and problem solving abilityDemonstrated written and verbal communications skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively coordinate projects is requiredExcellent computer skills
