JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a Senior Project Manufacturing Engineer - (Supervisory) for our facility in Shakopee, Minnesota. The Senior Project Manufacturing Engineer - (Supervisory) directs and provides leadership to a staff of Engineers and technicians who will be responsible for the efficient and quality build of products. Plans, develops, implements, and maintains plant organizational policies and goals. The Project Manufacturing Engineer will also be responsible for significant efforts of the group on influencing new designs. The Project Manufacturing Engineer will provide a work environment that is knowledgeable, efficient and motivating. Manages associated projects of varying complexity. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides support to the manufacturing floor to assist them in meeting their goals of on-time delivery, cost and quality of all products. Give work direction, resolve problems, prepare work schedules and set deadlines to insure completion of operations functions, goals, and strategies. Coordinate activities of plant with inter-related activities of other departments to insure optimum efficiency and economy. Lead cross-functional teams in problem solving or improvement initiatives. Work with Design Teams to ensure product and processes are transferable to high volume production Transfer products and processes to other ADC production facilities worldwide. Provide engineering support to satellite ADC facilities. Coordinate plant audits to ensure adherence of processes to ADC standards. REQUIREMENTS: BS in Engineering required, MBA desired. 6-8 years manufacturing experience, supervision, budgeting, and employee relations. Experience managing large teams. Experience in mechanical, manual and automated production techniques including metals fabrication, machining and finishing. Materials and inventory management including SAP or related ERP experience. Production engineering Experience in application of continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) and cost reduction tools. Quality control/statistical process control. Must possess experience in managing technical and business system projects of varying degrees of complexity through effective application of project management, leadership, collaboration and communication skills.
