Senior Release Engineer

Apex Systems is currently seeking a Senior Release Engineer for a contract-to-hire job opportunity. Candidate will be responsible for providing support to multiple application groups by performing or coordinating changes to multiple test and/or production application environments.Builds, or coordinates builds, of medium to high complexity.Ensures environment readiness and the migration of code to related files.Coordinates implementation related work among cross functional teams.Mentors/often gives direction to and delegates assignments to Release Engineers.Leads the CM code release effort by working with development and other technical teams to put standards and documentation in place for each application.Follow up on work completed by Release Engineers to ensure quality and completeness.Identifies process issues and recommends corrective action.Contributes to or prepares management and/or metrics reporting and audit findings.Available for off hours work, via remote when necessary.
