Senior Software Engineer - Human Factor -- SWEP

SRI International’s Engineering & Systems Division (www.sri.com/esd), the Institute’s largest group, is a multidisciplinary engineering organization dedicated to development and application of operationally effective systems. We perform a variety of engineering research, systems engineering, testing, and integration services for commercial and government clients worldwide. Clients include the Department of Defense (U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Joint Services), the Department of Transportation, local government agencies, and domestic and international commercial companies.

 

SRI is interested in hiring talented individuals to become part of our SWEP team in our Menlo Park office.  The Senior Software Engineer – Human Factor will monitor, and manage the execution for application and system infrastructure components and subsystems. Manage automation test suite, automatic software build, and requisite infrastructure as needed. Work closely with development engineers and project managers to: monitor software development status, execute testing, report, and track defects. Utilize and manage software services infrastructure including Configuration management, Issue Tracking, Installer, and Collaborative Website tools in day-to-day Testing and Release activities

 

EDUCATION:

BS in Computer Science, 2 – 3 years of software development experience. 

 

EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge in the following:  Human Factor Integration, GUI, Proficiency with C#, .NET 3.0, Windows Presentation Foundation and XAML, as well as DirectShow APIs are a must.

 

OTHER:

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
