Senior Systems Engineer: Industry Leader in Electrical Design & Manufacturing of Computer Systems
Employment Strategies is looking for a highly skilled, energetic and customer friendly individual in the area of Electrical Engineering. This person must have a minimum of 8 years experience serving in an engineering or lead role demonstrating the following functions:Designs and Documents new products. Documentation includes the Bill of Material, Schematics, Cable Drawings, Instructions, Test Plans and other product documentation. Modifies existing products to meet customer requirements. Participates in prototype build and test. Supports production in the procurement, assembly, and test of our products. Researches and resolves design problems. Maintains project schedules and reports progress as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:Will serve as lead engineer on a number of design projects. Will work with Product managers, Program managers, Customers and other departments to design and then verify designs. Ensures proper quality and level of engineering documentation is accomplished. Will have full project responsibility on some projects and will work as a member of a design team on others. May visit sub-contractors, vendors and customers to perform various engineering functions.
Organizational Relationships:Must coordinate successfully with various departments, such as Sales, New Product Development, Program Management, Quality, Materials, and Manufacturing.
Minimum Experience / Education Requirements:Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years experience as an electrical/electronic engineer, preferred. Experience in the design and manufacture of electronic circuit boards, power and computer circuits, cables, HW/SW integration, Systems level design, debug and deployment. Should have some programming experience, FPGA/PLD design capabilities and knowledge of various computer architectures used in hardened embedded systems.
