He/She will possess knowledge of Storage Retrieval Automated Tracking Integrated System (STRATIS) Military supply systems and programs preferred. The candidate should be able to communicate, assess, and attenuate work related discrepancies brought by employees or the military. A high school diploma or GED is required. Working ConditionsWork environment is a warehouse setting. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and over 50 lbs with assistance, frequently following safety precautions. Works over head, mobile working from ladders and tall structures, reaching upward and downward, lying down and working, crawling, bending, and moving in a full range of motion. Lifting foot to waist and working in extreme temperatures. Employee may be exposed to irritants, dust solvents, chemicals, using safety measures and precautions.Must have a current U.S. passport before deploying to Iraq.Must have a valid driver's license.BASE HOURLY RATE: $17.31FOREIGN SERVICE BONUS (FSB) 5% WORK AREA DIFFERENTIAL (WAD) 35%HAZARD PAY 35%ADJUSTED HOURLY RATE FOR FIRST 40 HOURS: $30.29Potential Annual Income of Approximately $99,000.00. Job Description : The Senior Warehouseman provides logistical support to all customers and employees assigned to the SMU. The scope of this responsibility includes the proper receipt, storage, and issue of all material and the control of project furnished small tools and third party materials. The Senior Warehouseman is responsible for executing, administering, and completing tasks, missions, and duties put forth by his/her management, by leading the team and personnel as needed.The Senior Warehouseman will assist with training of new personnel/sub-contractor workers (SCWs) and mentor/advise as needed. Extensive knowledge of Storage Retrieval Automated Tracking Integrated System (STRATIS) required for this position.* Must ensure all customer verification lists and any special issue documents are filed using STRATIS and/or proper filing systems.* Must understand pallet construction and deconstruction procedures.* Knowledgeable of proper inventory procedures utilizing STRATIS.* Must be knowledgeable in the use of Federal Logistics Database (FEDLOG) research.* Must be knowledgeable of proper HAZMAT material handling procedures.* Must be knowledgeable of shipping and receiving, issue, and storage.* Must be knowledgeable of proper packaging, boxed, palletized, containerized, banding, labeled and other required shipping lost documentation.* Operate Material Handling Equipment (i.e., Forklifts 2k up to 15K) as assigned and must hold appropriate license and/or certification.* Must be knowledgeable of proper safety procedures in general, as well as in a warehouse environment.* Coach and mentor other Senior Warehousemen.* Assist the foreman with assessment of operations issues.* Administer mission objectives and quality of work.If you need further assistance or would like to speak directly to a recruiter please call: 877-532-7462.hjlsi06 : : EOE M/F/D/V
