Description

Electrical Project Engineer

Qualified Candidates must have the following:

· 2 years Experience designing electrical control systems for industrial machinery.

· Proficient with AutoCAD and preferable AutoCAD ELECTRICAL software (or its predecessors) for creating electrical schematics.

· Proficient with Microsoft office software, particularly Excel for creating all documents necessary for the system design.

· Detail oriented and knowledgeable in production operations, quality standards, safety policies, OSHA regulations, NEC (UL508A) & NFPA 79 codes.

· Self-motivated and able to work independently, have good communication skills, and must communicate on a technical level with customers. 

Experience in the following areas would be considered a plus: programming PLC’s; programming servo or stepper controls; AC and DC drives; Metals or Wire Rolling industries.

Requirements

Candidate should have an electrical engineering degree or equivalent system design experience.

Some travel required 25% - up to 3 weeks at a time for installs.
