Sheet Metal Mechanic/Machinist

The ideal candidate will provide support for the ALQ-99 and EA-18G Electronic Countermeasures Hardback along with various Shop Repairable Assemblies (SRA's).You must be able to stand for long periods and also be able to sit, squat and twist in unusual positions, and endure heavy vibrations for short periods of time. The ideal candidate is skilled in aluminum sheet metal fabrication along with disassembly and assembly techniques specific to sheet metal working process; Has extensive experience with rivets & riveting process; Is able to read, interpret and understand technical manuals, drawings and specifications; Is able to follow written, verbal, and drawing instructions sets; Is skilled and able to fabricate and assemble parts working from drawings, written and or verbal instructions; Is able to professionally interface with other technicians, engineers, quality assurance personnel and other support personnel; Is able to run various manual/CNC machine shop type tools (i.e. Mills, Lathes, etc.); Possess mechanical aptitude and be experienced with various hand tools related to commercial aircraft sheet metal repair trade.The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of job-related experience; A degree in Machine Trades desired, but not necessary.The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and US Citizenship is required.ITT is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
