Shift Manager Maintenance

AK Steel has an immediate need for a Shift Manager Maintenance at our Butler, Pennsylvania operation. AK Steel-Butler Works is a leading producer of carbon and specialty flat-rolled electrical and stainless steels.  AK Steel maintains a relentless pursuit of excellence in safety, quality, and productivity.   Duties and responsibilities:· Plan and coordinate maintenance activities within a department· Provide work direction and supervise hourly employees · Perform and assist in troubleshooting of equipment failure to determine root causes  · Ensure equipment reliability through proper preventative maintenance techniques · Ensure compliance of Quality Standard Operating and Maintenance Procedures, and manage safety program for maintenance personnel Requirements:· Associate's degree in technical field or equivalent experience· Industrial experience with electronics, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics· Willingness and ability to work directly on the shop floor in a heavy manufacturing environment· Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide direction to others· Exceptional analytical skills for problem solving as well as excellent communication skills Preferred Requirements:· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering · Electrical/electronic troubleshooting experience and skills· Experience in a steelmaking environment If you are interested in joining a committed team in a fast-paced, steel making facility, please apply now.  An EEO Employer M/F/V/D POSITION INFORMATION Company: AK Steel Location: Butler, PA 16001 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Installation/Maintenance/Repair COMPANY INFORMATION Company: AK Steel
