Software Engineer

MyWeather, LLC, a leading media / technology company creating innovative solutions for television, print, and leading edge consumer Web products, is looking for an excellent programmer to join the development team. If you are an energetic self-starter with five or more years of experience developing software in an online environment this might be for you! You will develop and maintain software used in our online weather data and web services production environment.





Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; strong C# and .NET skills required; reliable and accomplished software engineer with significant commercial development experience using C++ and Win32 in a Windows environment; database design and administration experience in SQL Server 2000/2005 using stored procedures and triggers; strong browser-based presentation layer development experience and skills (expert JavaScript, DHTML, CSS); experience with a service or content provider for mobile devices; server side scripting (ASP, PHP, ASP.NET); computer graphics API experience; GIS skills and training a plus (ESRI preferred); excellent analytical and debugging skills.
