The successful candidate will be able to perform in all areas of the software development lifecycle, including, task planning, requirements derivation, software architecture, design, documentation, implementation, unit test, design verification, hardware/software integration, creation of test documentation, and system test execution. This position may also require that the individual interface with users and/or customers.Experience/Skills Required The qualified candidate will have a BSCS/BSEE degree with 3+ years of experience. The software engineer will have a high proficiency in C/C++ programming and have specific knowledge of software development methodologies. In addition, the following skills/experience are desired:- Candidate will have experience with CORBA messaging, Software Architecture design, and with Software Communications Architecture (SCA) design compliance. - Skill in modelling and simulating system Software performance. - Network Communications software development experience.- Familiarity with MIL-STD 188-184, MIL-STD 188-220 a huge plus. -Requires ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.  Previous leadership experience a plus.  Education Requirements BA/BS or equivalent experienceTravel Required Up to 10 percentUS Citizenship Required?
