Software Engineer (Entry Level)

Datascope is a FORBES BEST 200 SMALL COMPANY.  Datascope Corp. is a market leader in manufacturing proprietary products for clinical health care markets in interventional cardiology and radiology, cardiovascular and vascular surgery, anesthesiology, emergency medicine and critical care, and we continue to bring innovation to this market segment.  The Company’s three primary businesses include Cardiac Assist, Patient Monitoring and Intervascular.  At this time, the Cardiac Assist Division is looking to add a Software Engineer to their Engineering team in Mahwah, NJ.

 

Develop Real-Time applications using C++ for a commercial medical device.

Design, implement, document, test and support of embedded software in line with approved Requirements Specification.

Software includes various digital signal processing and filtering techniques, Open GL user interface, TCP/IP and serial communications.

Analyze problem domain, assess feasibility and delivery requirements, develop and propose solutions to more senior team members.

 

BSCS or related field; Masters Degree preferred.

Must possess excellent knowledge of object oriented design and C++.

Object modeling tool experience (such as Rhapsody) is desired.

Knowledge of embedded operating systems (such as Green Hills Integrity) is desired.

Clearance / status to work in the United States.

Co-op or equivalent work experience developing software for medical products is highly desired.
