This position is for an engineer with knowledge of embedded software, C/C++ and/or scripting languages such as PERL or TCL. The candidate must have a proven track record of good development practices and methodologies. The engineer will be responsible for integrating and testing complex government communications systems with embedded processors. The candidate will also be responsible for test documentation, test development, test integration, and final product sell-off to the customer.Experience/Skills Required 2+ years experience working in a software and/or test development environment developing and debugging software using C, C++, Perl, Tcl or other language.Test methodology and test experience is a must, including creation and updating documents and test reports.Must have working knowledge of integrating software with embedded processors.Familiarity with requirements traceability, DOORS database, and Clearcase configuration management is a plus.US Citizenship is required.
