Special System/Telcom Specialist

Job Description:

• Individual must be experienced in special systems/telecommunications systems designs for airports, schools, commercial buildings, medical facilities, residential buildings, etc.

• Must have experience managing multiple projects, a demonstrated ability to coordinate with other disciplines, and knowledge of the design and construction process, as well as related codes and standards.

• Must be able to lead various phases of a project. 

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Windows Office applications is required. 

• Design experience may include security systems, surveillance systems, telecommunications infrastructure, data and telecom cabling, data networks, data centers, IT systems, structured cabling and UCDS systems, Public address/Terminal Announcement Control Systems (TACS), etc. 

• B.S. degree in Engineering.

• Desired certifications include:  EIT/FE, PE and/or RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer).
