Position Profile:
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic integrators and ancillary devices installed on diaphragm, rotary and turbine meters. Evaluate the performance of pipeline technicians engaged in field calibrations of turbine and orifice meters. Assist Senior Pipeline Measurement Specialist during installation and maintenance activities where required. Investigate and provide feedback to Nicor Gas Transportation and Billing Department.

Position Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, inspect, calibrate, and troubleshoot electronic and mechanical equipment used to measure natural gas flow volumes at residential, commercial, or industrial customers using diaphragm, rotary, or turbine meters. Must understand and be able to apply gas laws and applicable company and ICC standards. Install, maintain, inspect and troubleshoot telephone based AMR equipment and perform quality control inspections on the activities of third party contractors performing similar duties.

Required Degree, Skills and Experience:
Electro-mechanical background
Self directed and capable of independent operation
Good communication skills with customers and departments

Preferred Degree, Skills and Experience:
Associate's Degree in Electronics is preferred, however a candidate that posesses equivalent, progressive industry experience in gas measurement or technical aspects and training or qualification from manufacturer's and third party measurement training organizations is acceptable.
