Sr. Applications Engineer

The Company:We are recognized as a leading international supplier of high-reliability data interface products for military and commercial aerospace applications for over 40 years; encompassing Fibre Channel, Ethernet, ARINC, and MIL-STD-1553 Data bus interfaces, Synchro/Resolver converters, and Solid-State Power and Motor Controllers. Our data solutions are integral elements of military, aerospace, and industrial applications, including advanced data bus technology for high-speed Ethernet and Fibre Channel networks. Our MIL-STD-1553 data bus boards and components are designed into a global network of aircraft, helicopter, and missile programs, while advanced ground support systems rely heavily upon our MIL-STD-1553 data bus and Solid-State Power Controllers. We provide 1553 and ARINC 429 interfaces for both embedded and lab testing/development environments.  Primary/Essential Duties: 1.   Provide technical support for customers and salespeople in an effort to win customer designs for our products.     2.   Respond to telephone and written (RFQ's) technical inquiries from customers.3.   Understand Customers' requirement and participate in new products definition4.   Represent marketing in product planning and status meetings.
