Explore the opportunity of world-changing work available to you below.CH2M HILL has an opening for an experienced Senior Civil/Water Resources Project Manager, to be located in either our Baton Rouge or New Orleans office. We are seeking an individual with a strong project management/project delivery focus, and with a technical background in general civil/water resources projects.This position is responsible for managing civil planning and design projects, with project components such as dredging, bulkheading, surface water modeling, sediment pipelines, large survey and geotechnical elements, pump stations, and marsh creation.The Senior Civil/Water Resources Project Manager is the primary interface with the client, and has sufficient technical knowledge of project elements to successfully lead a diverse project team. Responsibilities include:Development of scopes of work and detailed work plans (work breakdown structure, schedule, budget, resources).Management of the team, which will consist of engineers, scientists, and techniciansResponsible for cost control of projects, and quality control oversightPrimary interface with the clientManagement of subcontractors and subconsultantsQualificationsBasic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 15 or more years of related experience; eight of which must have been in a project management role.
