Sr. Electrical Managing Engineer

We currently have an opening in our Syracuse, NY office for an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage our Electrical department. This position will be reponsible for, but not limited to: Personnel decisions including management and career development of technical staff, performance evaluations of staff and establishing goals and objectives Resource management for electrical portion of engineering projects Budget oversight for department to maintain profitability through fiscal control of projects Technical oversight for electrical designs for municipal / commercial / industrial projects to ensure technical accuracy Interface with both internal and external clientele Prepares project authorizations and establishes schedules Markets services and participates in business development practices

Skills & QualificationsB.S. Engineering (preferably Electrical) and 10+ years of relevant experience M.S. Engineering (preferably Electrical) and 8+ years of relevant experience Registered Professional Engineer Demonstrated skills and experience to successfully assume the duties and responsibilities of the position
