Sr. Mechanical Engineer I-MRE

Must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years experience. or a MS degree from an accredited engineering school and seven (7) to twelve (12) years of direct engineering experience, or Ph.D. and two (2) to five (5) years of direct engineering experience. Written and verbal communication and disciplined approach to procedures are required to facilitate and implement improvements. Customer focused to provide quality service and improve equipment and process reliability. Required Skills: The Mechanical Maintenance and Reliability Engineer is expected to be knowledgeable of maintenance technologies and practices, poses problem solving and troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment, consult in the development of projects to improve reliability and develop procedures for technically complex equipment repairs. Some of the key responsibilities of the maintenance and reliability engineer are: • Establishing and driving reliability engineering principles and best work practices • Development and oversight of preventive and predictive maintenance procedures • Developing procedures for major overhauls and technically complex repairs of critical equipment • Troubleshoot equipment problems and conduct root cause failure analysis on failed equipment, develop action plan to eliminate repeat failures, and implement corrective actions • Identify key areas for reliability improvements • Provide technical support to the Engineering Department on the selection of equipment based on reliability improvements and industry best practices • Coach and develop personnel in changing from reactive to proactive maintenance See above.For quick consideration apply here
