SENIOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERZimmer Orthopaedic Surgical Products is a leading supplier of medical products and a part of the Zimmer family. We currently have a challenging opportunity within our Product Development group. This position will have responsibility for conceptualizing, developing and designing new products within a cross-functional team environment. This responsibility includes product feasibility, engineering analysis (including FEA), development, evaluation and manufacturing transfer.Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and 5 years of proven success in new product development and design. Must have medical device experience. Expertise in electro-mechanical design is a plus. Desired qualifications include expertise in plastic part design, knowledge of materials (plastic and metals), experience and understanding of FDA requirements in the design of medical products. Proficiency in Pro-Engineer Wild-Fire is required.Zimmer Orthopaedic Surgical Products offers a competitive salary along with an excellent benefit package.
