Sr. Systems Engineer

 

Symmetricom is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to manage and direct technical R&D programs in the field of timing and communications systems.  Symmetricom is expanding the systems engineering department with new contracts in the areas of digital signal processing, satellite communications and airborne timing and will be adding an engineer to lead and perform technical work.  Successful candidate must be able to represent the company and the programs in a detailed technical fashion both internally and externally.

 

BSEE+, established track record of lead technical responsibility, project management skills and customer interaction experience a must for this position.  Applicant must be comfortable taking responsibility for a small team on highly technical work and producing results in a fast paced environment.  Business development experience a plus but the emphasis of this position is to execute existing work.  Successful applicant will be joining an established, successful team and will be expected to learn quickly on the job.  Applicant must be able to convey engineering principles and results in written (paper) and briefing formats.
