Position Description:Lead the activities within a product development team to attain product cost targets and the successful launch of high quality analog IC products from Product Development into Production.-  Product Development Yield Enhancement:  Enhance the overall wafer and package yield in the most cost effective manner.  Analyze yield data and identify and report product yield issues, work with team members to identify root cause and implement corrective actions.- Work with product development team members (Program Manager, Design, Characterization, Test and Tech) to:-     Develop production and qualification test methodology plans and follow through with the execution of those plans-     Establish ATE production test guardband limits for products assigned to their team.-    Correlate measurement results between ATE and bench to ensure production test integrity.-    Coordinate with Design, Test and/or Process Engineering in the application of issue resolution best practices- Coordinate the assembly of parts to be used for qualification and yield enhancement work.- Work with the Qualification group in the design and verification of hardware and software associated with the qualification of products assigned to their team. Work with the Team Project Leader in the follow through of resolving product issues that may arise as result of qualification work.- Work with the team characterization engineer in collection and analysis of data with the goal being to understand the impact of fabrication process variation on the product design and its impact on yield. Report the findings and advocate the resolution of discovered issues.- Provide Customer Support as directed by the Program Manager to:  Verify application issues, support FA, define and assist in the development of test screens, provide descriptions of product issues, participate in conference calls.  Perform other customer support activities as needed.- Provide Production Support:  Assist with production test issues. Monitor production yield and seek solutions to yield issues.  Work in conjunction with the manufacturing organization to ensure that products perform and yield over manufacturing tolerances. Demonstrate an understanding of statistical analysis techniques, systems and tools. Have a proven track record of success in applying various technical problem skills to drive results.  - Skill in personal interfacing, verbal and written communication, planning and organization of projects, problem solving and operation of electronic test equipment.Desired:- Experience in working with Asia based factories and support is a plus.  Education/CertificationsRequired Degree:BS in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent U.S. export control laws and regulations require the company to restrict access by citizens or nationals of certain countries to technology involved with the advertised position.  All candidates who accept an offer will be required to complete an Export Control Questionnaire.
