TLC Engineering for ArchitectureA Recognized leader in Sustainable Design whose achievements include 1st LEED certified building in Florida 1st project to be LEED certified for commercial interiors in Florida 1st in Jacksonville to achieve LEED Silver Certification Designated by State of FL board of Professional Engineers as an authorized –area of practice-continuing education provider for LEED certification 46% of our Sr. Management staff are LEED accredited Strong commitment to USGBC including a board of directors spot on a national committee and a past president spot in the North Florida chapter is seeking an experienced Structural Designer I To join our environmentally conscious, family friendly (recognized as #16 of the Top 100 companies for working families by the Orlando Sentinel) company As a Structural Designer you will: Design structural systems for architecture, including unique Hollow Structural Section (HSS) steel trusses, exposed structures as architectural features, complex mat and deep foundation systems, long-span structures, short-span and pedestrian bridges, tilt-wall and pre-cast wall systems, conventional and composite steel framing, and reinforced, post tensioned and aerated autoclave concrete for commercial, institutional, governmental, high-rises, and healthcare facilities using AutoCAD.  Ideal candidates will possess: AA degree or AutoCAD Certificate in Design and Drafting Must have experience working in 3D 3 years experience drafting and designing structural systems (concrete, steel & wood) for an A/E firm using AutoCAD Knowledge of building codes and general engineering practices Experience using Architectural Desktop a plus  EEO/M/F/V/D EEO/M/F/V/D
