Structural Engineer - Chicago

We are seeking professional Structural Engineers to perform a variety of forensic investigations related to design and construction of residential and commercial building for the purpose of resolving claims and legal disputes associated with property damages. Prepare oral and written reports that document the cause of failure and recommended method of remediation.

Assignments may include

* Foundation settlement

* Roofing evaluations

* Structural assessments resulting from fire, water intrusion, roof collapse, site evaluations.

Requirements

* BS Civil or Structural Engineering (Must Have)
* S.E. License. (Must Have, Or close to obtaining)

* Strong Construction Background Preferred
* 7-10+ years experience in design and/or construction of residential and commercial buildings, VAR
* Project Engineering/Management experience
* Independent judgment; strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Computer literacy is a must (Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint
