Education:

1. Civil Engineering Degree

 

General Duties:

1. Residential Structural Engineering and detailing

2. Multi-family Structural Engineering and detailing

3. Light commercial Structural Engineering and detailing

4. Assemble structural drawings and specifications for permitting / construction

5. Solve problems arising during construction

6. Manager and lead others to complete client projects

7. Responsible for development of client relationships

8. Assisting with new client prospects/proposals

9. Initial invoice preparation

10. Scheduling of jobs

11. Site inspections as required to solve construction issues

12. Building code analysis and interpretation

 

Required Skills:

1. A working knowledge of structural design and detailing regarding:

a. Wood Design

b. Masonry Design

c. Concrete Design

d. Steel Design

e. Foundation Design

f.  Wind Design

2. Microsoft Office including Access, Excel, Outlook, Word

3. MathCAD

4. AutoCAD 2002 or later

5. Adobe Acrobat Professional

6. Able to communicate well with others

7. Time Management Skills

8. Organizational Skills

9. Inter-office communication

10. Attention to Detail

11. Customer Relations
