Structural Steel Draftsman Detailer

Web Steel Buildings currently has an opening for a structural steel draftsman/detailer.

 

In 1989 Web Steel Sales, Inc., began producing a small open web, steel truss building frame system for our local customers. Today we design and fabricate open web and rigid frame buildings ranging from sixteen feet in width to one hundred fifty feet in width. Our client base now comprises most of the Western United States.

 

All of our design and production work is performed at our facility in Sandy, Oregon, located about 20 miles east of Portland.

 

Applicants must be industrious and committed with a high level of proficiency in ACAD. Experience in processing and detailing Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings is highly desired, but we will train a qualified applicant.

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

*  Associate's degree in structural drafting, or six months minimum experience in related field.

*  Skilled with ACAD.

*  Proficient with Microsoft Office.

*  Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.

*  Good written and verbal communication skills.

*  Team and goal-oriented, and able to function in a deadline-driven environment.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*  Experience with Metal Building Software (MBS).
