Subject Matter Expert - Maintenance

***THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN IRAQ***The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of ten years general experience with a minimum of five years specific experience in Direct Support and Organizational maintenance operations. Candidate will be knowledgeable in TAMMS, the SAMS-1/E functions, DA PAM 710-2-2, Army Regulations 750-1 and 710-2.A high school diploma or GED is required and two plus years of college or technical school is highly desirable. Experience may be substituted for education at the rate of one year of specific experience for one year of high school or college. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point. Job Description : * Reports to the Operations Manager, LSI * Principle advisor to senior leadership on all maintenance matters directly influencing the service provided to the customer and our client. * Provides technical direction, guidance and leadership to Army direct support maintenance activities theater-wide through coordination with the Site Manager and Maintenance Managers* Maintains liaison and coordinates with strategic partner on maintenance operations and statement of work compliance.* Reviews and interprets maintenance regulations and directives from higher headquarters including the LOGCAP III and Task Order 139 SOW to develop and implement efficient maintenance management systems.* Perform staff visits and inspections at LSI Maintenance locations to provide technical assistance and monitor maintenance operations to gain efficiencies and increase productivity/service and support to the customer.* Review the daily maintenance status and OR rates; provide assistance and direction as required.* Monitors personnel staffing and ensures that the required personnel are in the authorized positions according to the authorization document. * Additional responsibilities of the SMEs:* Administrative Support* Operations* Planning* Training (Sufficient knowledge of the topic to be able to teach it.* BOE Development * Personnel Resource Allocation* Fiscal Plan Estimates* Equipment Allocation and Re-allocation* Peer Reviews* Provide input to rank ordering of qualified candidates for Leadership potential* Assist in determination and interview of suitable candidates for promotion* Document Lessons Learned* Issues* Suggestions for Improvement* Provide Quality Check of Training, Training Materials, Course Content, Regulatory Compliance RequirementsThe annual income potential for this position is $168,000+ : : EOE M/F/D/V
